In loving memory of,
Don Freeman had toiled with the idea of owning his own business after witnessing his father, John Freeman, pilot a successful sheet metal/mechanical company known as Freeman Metals. Don's dream came to fruition in July 1995 when he found the perfect piece of property (pictured to the left) and opened the doors of Interstate Mechanical and Millwright Inc. in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Nearly 30 years later, Jason Freeman, Don's son, is keeping his legacy alive by standing by his original mission statement: Provide versatile big corporate capabilities with dependable small business values. IMMI now provides services throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia and built an excellent reputation as the company that goes the extra mile to leave their clients with the most positive experience possible.
Our family legacy continues with our latest addition, Seth Freeman. A full-time student athlete at Newberry College, Seth spends his summers and holiday breaks training to become a skilled millwright/welder, just like his dad and grandpa before him. He has already proven that welding is truly in the Freeman blood. We're excited to see what the future holds for Seth and our team at IMMI.
